CEO BUSY Schools

Leads the management of BUSY Schools and all campuses throughout Queensland.

Clare Cropper

Administration Officer

Administration duties including managing enrolment paperwork and bookings, recording attendance, making morning wake-up calls, organisational duties, as well as being first point of contact at BUSY School, Cairns Campus.

 

Naomi Vucas

Principal

Naomi oversees the daily running of the BUSY Schools Cairns Campus, student and staff welfare.

 

Chipo Gweshe

Head of Curriculum

Curriculum developer, liases with QCAA around assessment endorsement and AARA, monitors assessment results, and guides teachers through changes in curriculum expectations and teaching and learning. Head of Curriculum also assists teachers in extending students in maths/English.

 

Faith Sayer

Maths/Social Community Studies/Art teacher

Teaches Essential Maths and Social Community Studies to Year 11, rolling through with them until they complete Year 12.  Co-ordinates an art session for students during the well-being portion of the day.

 

Ben O’Connor

English/Social Community Studies teacher

Teaches Essential English and Social Community Studies to Year 11, rolling through with them until they complete Year 12.  Supervises the study session for students who wish to do extra study in the well-being portion of the day.

 

Marney Fichera

Youth Worker

Supports the social-emotional and academic needs of the students, liaises with external organisations and important stakeholders. Communicates with students and families on a regular basis, as well as making morning wake up calls to students.

 

Emma Maguire

Teacher Aide

Assists with teacher needs and the organisation of resources.
