The BUSY Schools are Special Assistance Schools. This means that we make an important contribution to addressing educational disadvantage by catering for students with severe social, emotional and behavioural issues.
The BUSY Schools serve young people who are disengaged from education and whose needs are not being met by mainstream education. Students are often referred from psychologists, guidance officers, community services, and other schools, both government and non-government. The BUSY Schools has specially adapted programs and structures designed to re-engage students in education and prepare them for further training and employment.
